I just got back from the biggest and first anime festival I have ever been to. AFA09 was simply awesome and I really met the coolest people. My day went on like this;

2.00pm
Left the apartment to catch the mrt train to Suntec Convention Centre where AFA09 is held.

3.00pm
Astonished by the huge crowd. It was so jam and cramp with so many people.

3.30pm
Finally got in the convention hall after a long que.

4.00pm
There were so many cosplay and most of them really didn't fit the character. Too some shot with the best cosplay I could find.

4.10pm
Met with the Extravaganza organizers to collect my pass and participate in the prize giving ceremony.

4.30pm
Unexpectedly met Artgem in person and had a cool and inspiring talk with him. Furthermore, I saw Shoko Nakagawa backstage and took a picture of her. I was so close to her but I didn't know how to approach her since there she was buzy with the AFA crew members.

5.00pm
Artgem gave me few but really helpful tips on how I could improve. He recommanded me to buy the new Warcom Tablet which had the touch and pen function. It was rather low in price, less than SG$200.

6.00pm
Hang around the convention centre and waited to for the concert to begin.

7.40pm
The concert was finally in progress and SHoko Nakagawa sang her famous anime songs. She was full of energy and really made the crowd go wild with her cute nature.

8.15pm
Miku Hatsume gave a life performance not as the real person but the digital one. It was more like watching a music video that was more customized to fit the event.

8.45pm
Decided to end the day.

It was really an enjoyable experience and I would never forget how Shoko Nakagawa and Artgem inspired me to achieve my goals in life. They are simply the best!
