It was a sunny and scroching wheather. In the mids of preparing myself for the Grand Campus Road Run, I felt a tremendous meltdown in my chest as I saw the most ravishing and stunning girl in campus. Her beauty was beyond words and could even pierce through a blind's eyes. I was being drawn into a world of Love that I haven't experience for a very long time. Was this just Love or something more? My heart beat rosed and time seemed to slow down for the very first time in campus. She was a natural beauty with gorgeous brown eyes, eyes that I have never seen before.

Just when I was about to say "Hi", the race began and I lost sight of her due to the crowd. I ran and ran, trying to find her as I overtake the other runners but it was to no avail. I was totally drained even though it wasn't even half the distance. However, I preservered to the very end and managed to pass the finish line. Soon after, I took a seat since my legs deserved a good rest. "Sign, would I ever meet her again?" I asked myself. OUt of the blue, she sat right infront of me and it shocked me. Even so, I couldn't open my mouth. My mind was blank and I wasn't able to start a conversation. I felt that she was so close but yet so far away from me. I let go of that opportunity due to my lack of confidence.

One moment she was infront of me and the next she is no longer there. I missed the train. When I thought that all hope was lost, I saw a necklace on the place where she was sitting. I wanted to take it and return it to her but a person took the seat before I could lay my hands on it. I was a little too late. I waited till the that guy left but it was just a coincedence that she came back and took it. And so, I realized that the feeling only lasted a while. Love can be cruel sometimes but no matter how much you blame Love, it all comes down to you. I made my choices and it cost me the loss of my chances.
